Aidan O'Brien has won five of the last six and has a quintet entered this time. All of those winners have been the stable's first choice and that privilege goes to WAR COMMAND this time. Both Roderic O'Connor in 2011 and Power a year later had been well beaten in the Guineas at Newmarket before making remarkable progress to land this and it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the same will happen here. The Dewhurst winner never got going at Headquarters but wasn't beaten that far behind the shock winner Night Of Thunder and the favourite Kingman and is taken to reverse form with the runner-up and the winner's stablemate Shifting Power, who was just in front of him. That pair have obvious chances of landing this for England but Mustajeeb was well beaten by the selection in the Futurity here in August. Obliterator was a long way behind subsequent Dante flop True Story at Newmarket but that wasn't his form and he'll be a different proposition this time.
