Verdict

Aidan O'Brien is determined to win this with three of the five entries headed by CHURCHILL. He has only won his last two races, the Chesham at Royal Ascot and a Leopardstown Group 3, by narrow margins but has looked immature in both and should be a more polished article now. Capri has a similar level of form and is by no means making up the numbers. He looked very well suited by some give in the ground when landing a Tipperary Listed contest so any ran would aid his cause. Lancaster Bomber is the third member of the Ballydoyle trio but, though the half-brother to the brilliant Excelebration, is thrown in at the deep end after his maiden victory, though there have been numerous occasions when the stable's lesser-fancied runner has turned up trumps. Joseph O'Brien's Arcada beat Capri here last month but the latter was making his debut and is much improved since. Radio Silence comfortably landed a Leopardstown maiden but could only finish fourth behind Peace Envoy in a Group 3 here.
