Verdict

Monsieur Gibraltar was readily brushed aside by Network Rouge at Stratford on Thursday and has become disappointing. STEPHANIE FRANCES (NAP) fell in her first two tries over fences but was fairly fluent at Southwell last week and won in a canter. She should go on to better things and her mares' allowance means she is getting 7lb from Nicolas Chauvin, who has been poor since winning at Huntingdon in May. Theatre Flame should make a chaser but may just need his first run since February.
