In depth

Verdict

MYTHICAL is well clear on official ratings. The former was highly tried after winning his Gowran maiden in a canter, ending with a decent run in the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud, and his pedigree suggests he was always likely to make a better three-year-old. Gold Maze has yet to be given a rating but also excelled as a juvenile considering he's by Golden Horn out of a Galileo mare and he did very well to finish third in the Group 2 Beresford over a mile here considering that was only his second run. Crossfirehurricane and Choice Of Mine fought out the finish of a Dundalk Listed race and the unbeaten winner should come out on top again while Toronto should do much better now getting a test of stamina.
