Allagar defied a market drift to land a fillies' maiden at Dundalk Friday on her 11th attempt and Sweet Gardenia is penalised for a surprise victory in a similar class race at Tipperary where she relished the testing ground. Sense Of Style was beaten just over a length by April Showers in a Navan maiden and though she's improved subsequently the winner is unlikely to have stood still and can confirm the form. HIGH HEELS finished second to Shale on testing ground at Gowran before a comfortable maiden victory on fast going at Cork. She can take the step-up in grade in her stride though Ahandfulofsummers is improving fast and her second in a Group 3 here in August puts her in the frame.
