A 30-runner apprentices' handicap hardly looks an ideal betting medium but An Saighdiur should give supporter a run for their money after an impressive victory at Cork. He was earlier well beaten behind Our Anniversary on the same track though that was over an extended mile and the winner has never raced over a trip this short. Captain Cullen wins his share of races and scored over a mile here in August but Arbourfield, though consistent, does all of his winning at Dundalk. THISWAYCADEAUX is the least exposed in the field having only had five starts. A maiden winner at Fairyhouse in October, she has run well in her two starts this campaign and will find this exactly to her liking after staying on over an extended 5f at Navan last time. Greenpanda has been given a chance by the assessor and is an outsider with claims in a very tricky handicap.
