EMPIRE STATE was just outpaced in what turned into a dash for the line at Dundalk following a slow pace. He wasn't unduly punished and can get off the mark. He came out marginally better than Staycation, who looked in need of the experience, though the fact that the latter takes him on again could be significant. The winner is trained by Jessica Harrington, who has the very speedily-bred Invincible Karma engaged here and he's one to note in the market. The selection's yard is also represented by Isle Of Innisfree, a full-brother to the two-year-old Group 1 winner Sioux Nation, and the War Front colt National Guard. Wartime Hero is a £210,000 half-brother to a two-year-old Group 2 winner and is another to note.
