Eavesdrop has had enough chances but needs a victory for the paddocks so perhaps this drop in trip and quicker ground could have the desired effect. Surprisingly made a promising start here in July and started favourite a couple of weeks later at Naas but didn't appear to be suited by front-running and is expected to do much better here. ALYSSUM finished a close second in that latter event and as that was her debut the daughter of New Approach should have made the necessary progress to go one better. Murmuring hasn't shown much on soft ground but today's conditions could bring about some improvement as she's by Canford Cliffs out of a very high-class mare.
