Verdict
Aidan O'Brien has won six of the last eight of these. He's represented this time by the maiden Bound, who was a long way behind his other entry Butterflies at Gowran in July, and also beaten by Queen Anne's Lace on the same track when the latter made a sparkling debut. Dermot Weld's filly looks difficult to beat on that evidence though there are two raiders from Charlie Appleby's yard which makes things interesting. Calare has been highly tried since scoring at Doncaster in June and has been narrowly beaten in two races at this level, though it's KAZIMIERA who catches the eye. The daughter of Dubawi attracted good support on her debut at Ayr in July and was always travelling well. She's been given time to mature and is handed the vote as Sweet Sounds faces a much tougher task than when completing a double at Roscommon.
