In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien, who has won twelve of the last 17 renewals including with One Cool Cat, Mastercraftsman and Holy Roman Emperor, has three entered to tackle the unbeaten SISKIN. Monarch Of Egypt, an impressive debut winner at Naas, had no answer to Ger Lyons' colt in the Group 2 Railway Stakes here and there doesn't seem any reason for a form reversal. Ryan Moore rides so his mount is presumably the stable pick over Royal Lytham, though the latter overcame interference to land the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket and looks to have the stronger form. Mount Fuji has been highly tried since a Cork debut success while Think Big's Down Royal maiden victory looks nowhere near good enough to see off the selection, who has won all three of his races in the style of a very smart youngster.
