        Verdict

        Royal Empress had some smart juvenile form and was placed in a Group 3 but she didn't impress on her reappearance on fast ground and is overlooked this time. Wexford Opera has become frustrating and expensive to follow but won't get many better opportunities though there are a couple of well-connected newcomers entered. Swift Action is bred for speed and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a winning debut nor would TABAARY and it's Dermot Weld's very expensive son of Street Cry, who is a half-brother to three winners in the USA, who gets the vote.
