    Verdict

    Waltzing Matilda hasn't won since her debut a year ago and though she's produced some decent performances she was three lengths behind Parish Hall in a Listed race here last month. The winner is a very tough and consistent type but has always been better on quicker ground than he'll face here. FASCINATING ROCK completed a hat-trick on soft ground last spring before finishing behind Australia in the Derbies here and at Epsom. He reappeared with a smooth victory over a mile here and with the longer trip and ground in his favour he can continue his upward curve. Euphrasia was 6l behind the selection here and has since run poorly in a Listed contest at Gowran.
