Aidan O'Brien was responsible for eight of the original entries and has three runners. Ryan Moore partners the Dante entry US ARMY RANGER and the son of Galileo is out of Irish Oaks winner Moonstone who has produced winners with her first three foals. He should be good enough to make a successful start though Balanced Approach showed real promise in a Leopardstown maiden in October and this is much more like his trip. High Honcho has run well enough at Dundalk though another newcomer, Aasheq, looks more of a threat. Dermot Weld's Dubawi colt is the third foal of a mare that has produced two Listed winners so he has a lot to live up to.
