Verdict

Soft conditions in Ireland have tempted Dandy Nicholls to saddle dual Group 1 winner REGAL PARADE for this and though he has a big penalty to contend with and has bigger fish to fry later he has the class to see him home. Fellow English raider The Cheka is another who will enjoy the conditions though he's likely to be seen to better advantage over another furlong. Emulous is the type to go on to better things and followed a Group 3 success on soft ground at Tipperary with an impressive Listed victory over a mile at Naas. Lolly For Dolly had Paraphernalia behind when landing a Group 3 over a mile here a fortnight ago but it would be no surprise to see the form reversed over this trip. The admirably consistent Luisant is rarely far away and could take advantage if the principals are short of fitness.
