PERFECT THUNDER (NAP) looked in need of this trip despite beating the well-regarded Toy over 7f here and a mark of 88 for her handicap debut doesn't look too taxing. Dark Vega was being ridden along from a long way out before staying on to beat a subsequent winner over that same trip here and she's only 1lb lower. Torn improved with each run and stayed on strongly to land a 7f Dundalk maiden while Eriksay has been dropped 3lb despite a fair reappearance in a premier handicap at Naas. Queen's Pardon made a very encouraging reappearance when staying on strongly over 6f at Naas while Shanghai Dragon will improve for his run at Cork.
