In depth

Verdict

Ruby Suesday showed enough in her three juvenile starts to suggest she can get competitive from this handicap mark while The Mighty Atom returned to action with a much improved effort at Dundalk and looks quite well treated. Captain Coke dropped back to the minimum trip to record his first success at Dundalk and a 4lbs rise shouldn't prevent a big run but HISTORIC OCCASION, whose three juvenile runs all came at the Curragh including when contesting the Goffs Million Sprint, should make progress this season and can take this for Dermot Weld. Frontier Cabin's short-head success over Victor Totus at Tipperary may not amount to much but he is certain to improve and give the selection something to think about.
