In depth

Verdict

Awesome Shirocco had a couple of runs over hurdles before reverting to a bumper at Wexford where he led until a furlong out in the testing ground. Georgina Burgess was consistent at this sort of level back in 2019 but has a long absence to overcome so this can go to POLLA MILANO. A very easy winner between the flags at Boulta in December, she made a very encouraging bumper debut at Thurles last month and normal progress can see her off the mark under Rules. Aspen Fior can improve for her run at Navan and has Lisa O'Neill's presence to aid her cause.
