James Fort produced an improved performance when chasing home Coach Carter at Punchestown while winning point-to-pointer Maccloud will have found 2m too short on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown and Rachael Blackmore takes the ride again. TAKARENGO has now had a dozen starts over timber without winning but has shown enough at this sort of level to finally get off the mark with his latest run behind Max Flamingo at Leopardstown looking the best form on view.
