In depth

Verdict

PILBARA came in for massive support when tackling 3m at Tipperary and backers never had a moment's concern, apart from a last-flight error. He's been hit with a 20lb rise but is probably still much better than a 108-rated handicapper. Bye Bye O Bye, five times a winner over hurdles, shows no sign of slowing down despite his age while Double Windsor, who was fourth to the selection at Tipperary, is massively better off at the weights. He was previously 14 lengths behind Hello Pilgrim over 2m6f at Limerick but was staying on and should get closer to the winner, who ran poorly at Ballinrobe on Wednesday. Rebel Waltz could provide the main threat as though he fell over fences at Tipperary he had previously chased home Bread And Butter over hurdles there and the winner went in again next time. Cornhill Lass was engaged in the 7.45 at Limerick last night.
