    In depth

    Verdict

Reddiac was engaged to run on the Flat at Leopardstown yesterday but would be interesting if turning up here. Charles Byrnes took this last year with a well-supported winner and SEGENHOE showed a bit more dash on the Flat at Killarney last week so gets the vote. Yafordadoe completed a double on testing ground on the Flat in October but has been a bit disappointing over hurdles. Surmise will be a first runner as a trainer for leading owner Barry Connell and he'll be anxious to get off to a good start but Mithmaar was well beaten at Kilbeggan on his hurdling bow.
