The two previous winners were drawn in single figures which suggests Naas winner Showmolina should go well though his best form has been on ground with plenty of give. Stablemate ELEUTHERA is drawn high but is a consistent performer at this level and can't go any lower so could be the one to beat. Markievicz beat a huge field at the Curragh but has struggled from an 11lb higher mark subsequently. Tai Sing Yeh was beaten in a Bellewstown claimer last time and Samroque's two victories have been at Dundalk though the latter is 10lb lower on Turf and could provide the main threat.
