In depth

Verdict

Danehill Brook landed a fast ground maiden at Down Royal but didn't show much improvement when runner-up in a four-horse race here subsequently. Gold Peregrine easily landed a fast ground maiden at Naas but didn't handle softer going quite as well there next time. Fly To The Moon gained an impressive victory at the Curragh but has been raised 10lb and this is tougher. Focus On Venice made a winning debut at Leopardstown and was sent into Group 2 company next time but was never in the hunt and finished last of five. THRILLED TO BITS showed little in her first campaign but has clearly made good progress over the winter as she beat three rivals, including the much better-fancied Persian Caliph, in convincing fashion on heavy going here a couple of weeks ago. Andy Oliver's filly is taken to follow up as Chiclet has shown her best form on Polytrack.
