A typically-competitive renewal of this premier handicap with several arriving in peak form. ZAMIRA is one and she answered any questions about fast ground when overcoming a 9lb weight rise to follow up a maiden win at Tipperary. She could have done without another 4lb rise but is progressive and worth sticking with. Mawaany has won both starts since switching from Sir Michael Stoute to Ger Lyons but this is his toughest task to date. Sikandarabad has the class to cope well with his big weight while My Brother made a promising reappearance at Hamilton. Sea The Lion only won by a neck at Navan and is 8lb higher but it would be no surprise to see Moonmeister run well after a break as he has his ground and is not badly treated.
