Ricky Bobby is the only course winner having scored over the trip last July and very nearly overcoming a 10lb rise at Wexford in October. The Niffler stepped up to 2m4f to score at Punchestown but was narrowly beaten back over this trip at Wexford though would prefer testing ground. Crosshouse Boy showed much-improved form when landing a Clonmel maiden on Thursday and though penalised his rider's claim takes care of the extra. His trainer also runs MAXXUM, who showed slightly improved form on just his third start in a Clonmel maiden then was well supported when scoring there on a return visit under today's claimer so looks the one to beat.
