Johnny Cigar didn't show much between the flags but got up close home on his bumper debut at Listowel and the runner-up won on Thursday. Lahinch Three made a successful bumper debut at Kilbeggan before taking on better company. He ran very well over hurdles at Gowran earlier this month so it's a surprise to see him back in a bumper. Olord has also performed over timber and finished just in front of Susans Sensation at Listowel though the latter was making his debut and the stable also run Another Choice, who only faded in the closing stages in what looked a strong event at Listowel. Winning point-to-pointer COPPER NATION made all for a convincing victory at Tipperary and, with further progress likely, can go in again though Suain Na Draoicht is almost certain to improve over this longer trip.
