Gordon Elliott is double-handed. Fakir D'alene landed a 2m5f Downpatrick maiden but couldn't make the transition to novice company at the Galway Festival. Perfect Attitude did well to score over 2m at Clonmel after being badly impeded though takes a big step up in trip. John Ryan runs three with Danny Mullins on board The Dara Man, a maiden winner over 2m1f at Ballinrobe and a very good third over 2mf in Listed company at Limerick. The stable's Dedanann is 1-30 over timber though at least we know he stays the trip but Brooks Falls has been well beaten when trying the distance. Some rain would aid the cause of KINGSTON RETREAT but she looked a real staying type when scoring at Downpatrick and can make her allowance count, though Sweet Street scored over the trip at Wexford and won't be done for stamina.
