This has attracted a strong field. Arvico Bleu had been threatening to win for some time before finally doing so at Clonmel and though that was over 2m1f he has experience between the flags so should have no difficulty staying. After landing a Galway maiden on his hurdling debut, point-to-point and bumper winner Minella Beau was put in his place by Morgan at Listowel though that winner is very useful. MOYROSS gets the nod as he overcame trouble in-running to land a 2m5f Galway maiden and this should be his kind of trip as it should be for Slippery Serpent, the winner of a bumper and a maiden hurdle over 2m3f at Downpatrick. Young Turk has been well beaten into second in his two starts since beating Silver Concord at Bellewstown but High Nellie isn't making up the numbers though a strike-rate of 1-26 tempers enthusiasm.
