This looks a bit more competitive than the first division though it's ASK KATIE who gets the vote. She beat Miss Ballygally in a Listowel handicap on testing ground last month and wasn't beaten far when stepping up in trip at Limerick last weekend. Avalanche gained his only victory so far over this trip at Killarney and though that was on fast ground he's run well enough on softer going over shorter to be considered despite a big weight. Apache Gold was behind him at Limerick last time while Nannys Well went up 12lb for her victory on heavy going at Listowel and couldn't cope with the extra at Gowran when she was behind runner-up Princess Tamay, who is inconsistent but would have a real chance if staging a repeat.
