Ejayteekay beat a big field at Down Royal in May and went up 6lb but didn't have the run of the race on a return visit later in the month. I'm Serious has yet to win and was well beaten when runner-up at Roscommon though the winner has since run well on a return visit. Slainte And Thanks went up 9lb for an easy victory at Clonmel and though running well for a long way at Gowran next time the extra told in the closing stages when around 6l behind WILD DESIRE. The winner had shown very little sign of ability previously but it didn't look a fluke and she can defy a 5lb rise. Jessamine has yet to reach a place in maidens but the dual all-weather winner makes her handicap debut from what could prove a lenient mark.
