Landsdowne made a bright start to the season over this trip on soft ground at Limerick and didn't quite get home over a mile at Naas on his subsequent start. He can go well as can Bramante, who finished fifth on his handicap bow at Dundalk last month though he was disqualified when his young rider failed to weigh in. King's Road, who has been hurdling and was entered to run over 1m2f at Gowran last night, finished runner-up over 1m4f at Tipperary last month so takes a dramatic drop in trip. Another who has been hurdling, Badger Or Bust, couldn't take advantage of a lowly all-weather mark last time though this trip and going has brought out the best in him in the past but in an open contest AN MHI, whose one success came over this trip at Tipperary in August, gets the vote as he looked in need of the run on his reappearance at Naas where he ran well for a long way.
