Lean And Keen has won around here though he's on a long losing run and hasn't run over hurdles since 2016. Lucky Icon made a successful hurdling debut a year ago but hasn't made the expected progress and still looks a bit high in the weights. Killacolla won a novices' hurdle over the minimum at Limerick but has yet to prove he stays this far unlike PILGRIM WAY (NAP), a winner over the trip at Tipperary back in 2016 and beaten a short-head by Bothar Dubh, who runs in the previous race, on his first start since that year over 2m here last month. That was a remarkable run after such a long absence and normal progress should see him go one better. Grey Atlantic Way was only just behind in that latter event but had a fitness advantage.
