Credenza attempted to make all over 7f at Dundalk but had no answer when stable companion Frosty quickened past and could only stay on at one pace. Vhagar ran very well in a Naas nursery over this trip then found 7f too short in a Dundalk maiden. His stable also run Facethepuckout, who beat three rivals in a Gowran nursery but has been looking a few pounds high subsequently. Cosmic Horizon is another from the yard and looks the best of the trio, following a smooth Roscommon victory with a moderate effort at Group 2 level at Leopardstown. An Aingeal Dubh won a claimer on the latter track and started favourite for a Galway nursery but couldn't keep up the gallop after attempting to make all over that 7f. LADY MARENGO is taking a big step up in trip having won over an extended 5f at Navan than beaten into second over an extra furlong on this track. She looks reasonably treated and a chance is taken that she stays the distance.
