Verdict

A fascinating contest with Chacun Pour Soi tackling 3m for the first time, despite fading in the latter stages of the Ryanair at Cheltenham over nearly half a mile shorter. Ronald Pump, a classy hurdler, has fared pretty well over fences and has no stamina doubts so should go well. However, BACHASSON has been a standing dish for Willie Mullins in decent small-field chases and can land a first success over this trip. He's won over two furlongs less and made a pleasing return last time when scoring at Clonmel after just over two years off. Feronily is an intriguing runner as he makes his chasing debut after just two runs apiece in bumpers and hurdles - he could be anything.
