With just four wins from 43 career starts, PIRES hasn't won as often as might have been expected and his two runs over fences have been poor. However, he's still a useful performer and looks the one to be on though Philip Fenton has found a reasonable opening for recent dual hurdles winner On My Own to make his debut over the bigger obstacles. Lord Only Knows hasn't had much experience for his age but has only seemed moderate while Rayhani's one placed effort from 11 starts over fences isn't the return connections would have hoped for from the Flat and hurdles winner.
