PERFECT WORDS is clearly limited but has shown enough in a couple of runs to suggest he's capable of scoring here. Admittedly, he was rather disappointing when a beaten favourite earlier this week at Folkestone but it was an acceptable effort in the context of this race and his sixth placing in the Brocklesby Stakes was a fair effort too. Stablemate Vanessa has also had a couple of early-season runs and could be a threat in receipt of 10lb including Charles Bishop's useful claim. However, it was only a seller she claimed the minor placing in last time and the topweight is preferred. Mad Jazz was immensely disappointing behind Vanessa that day but had been very well punted and maybe she's better than that. Keep an eye out to see if the money comes again.
