It's a surprise to see VENUS DE MILO running in this grade after her brilliant effort in the Irish oaks where she stayed on very strongly to take second behind Chicquita. She's entered in the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks in a couple of weeks time and this should be a nice warm-up. Midnight Soprano landed a Group 3 over the course and distance in June when the ground was soft and found fast going against her in the Lancashire Oaks. She looks the main threat as Bunairgead ran poorly in a Leopardstown handicap after landing a Listed event at Roscommon.
