Ducky Mallon is up 5lb for last week's victory at Fairyhouse but has won from higher marks in the past. He had earlier beaten Captain Power a short-head at Leopardstown but the runner-up has much the better of the weights here. SHORE STEP (NAP), who attempted to make all in last week's race but was caught close home, will be much better suited by this quicker ground and can reverse the form and gain the seventh victory of his career. Fuwairt also ran on that Fairyhouse card finishing a close second under a big weight though he's generally better over further. Gottardo was receiving 11lb when beaten by Ducky Mallon at Leopardstown and is worse off at the weights.
