Byerley Bear attracted good support when landing a bumper here last month and is one to keep an eye on as he makes his debut over timber. Silver Reef has run two promising races over hurdles and though not seen since June 2009 that's rarely a problem for one from this yard who are also represented by King Of The Refs. The latter, a winner between the flags at Dromahane, was twice narrowly beaten at very short odds early last year and didn't appear to be suited by three miles on his handicap debut at Fairyhouse though he does look more of a staying type. JOHNNY MCGEENEY landed a bumper here in July before a poor effort on fast ground at Naas in October. He bumped into a useful prospect in Tornedo Shay on his hurdling debut at Naas the following month but ran very well and will be unfortunate to come up against one as good here.
