Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has had bigger fish to fry this weekend but would be delighted to win this prize with King Leon, who is still a novice but did very well to chase home Much Wants More over 3m1f at Punchestown. TULSA JACK is another six-year-old who looked a nice staying prospect when scoring at Gowran and with just 4lb extra to contend with can gain his third victory over the bigger obstacles. Rogue Angel's victory over Urano in the Kerry National puts him in the frame for this despite a poor subsequent run at Limerick while Unoccupied jumps well and stays marathon trips so he could get involved if ready after a break. He finished runner-up in this two years ago behind Sword Fish but has made greater strides than the winner who arrives out of form.
