Verdict

LORD SCOUNDREL looks a very smart prospect for novice chases this season and was an impressive winner when completing a double by beating Wahoo easily at Galway. There looks much more to come and a hat-trick beckons. Horendus Hulabaloo started off over fences with a double before a very good second at Killarney then falling in the Kerry National. He's a stout stayer who should win more races this term as should Rightdownthemiddle. He beat Rock The World on his chasing bow at Listowel before falling when still in touch in a Grade 3 at Punchestown then remounting. Padraig's Joy gets the mares' allowance and is by no means a forlorn hope as she's mostly run really well over fences including when winning very easily at Fairyhouse.
