Low numbers have an advantage over 7f here so both recent winners, Clockers Corner and Facethepuckout are at a disadvantage. The former looked very progressive when beating a subsequent winner in a maiden at Listowel but the latter has been hit with an 11lb rise for a 6l victory on the same track. ROMANTIC PROPOSAL had been running well before coming here last month and comfortably landing a maiden. She has much more to do here but is well drawn and the assessor hasn't been hard on her so she can make a successful handicap debut. Thiswaycadeaux took advantage of very heavy ground to score at Roscommon so more rain would aid her cause while Red Striker gained his only victory to date on this track though that was over 1m2f.
