Leopards Leap ran quite well over timber at Limerick so it's a surprise to see him back in a bumper. Burrows Lane was suited by stepping up to 2m2f at Downpatrick where he was staying on strongly so this looks his trip. Naturally Blond has had seven bumper starts and finished runner-up in three of them. He should give a good account again but TRIOLET may have his measure. A close second in a huge field at Punchestown in May, he had a few weeks off before a reasonable run in what looked a strong event at Bellewstown and this should prove within his capabilities.
