Verdict

The very progressive Oneeightofamile couldn't take his momentum to the Flat at Galway last week and he was well beaten but he's going superbly over hurdles and will take some beating. However, WON IN THE DARK, who was three lengths behind him over 2m2f here last time, made a couple of bad errors that stopped him in his tracks and is expected to take his revenge. De Valira generally performs in good company as he did when third behind Captain Cee Bee at Tipperary and he ran well enough on the Flat at Galway last week to give himself a chance here. False Economy has been in good form on the Flat but will need to improve on his performances over timber to take a hand.
