Verdict

King Blue was beaten a long way when runner-up over the course and distance in February and will need to do better. Drive The Bus scored over fences at Wexford last summer and will be better for a recent spin over hurdles though he was beaten a long way and Denis Hogan may have a better chance with Eiri Na Casca, though he's 10lb higher than his victory at Naas in January. Mtada Supreme is very much a stayer who ran well over 3m1f at Gowran last time while even in a poor contest like this it's difficult to imagine the fourteen-year-old Toomdeely being good enough. ARD CREGG (NAP) landed a Thurles handicap over this trip in December and hasn't run badly in two subsequent starts so with more scope than these rivals he can double his winning tally.
