Willie Mullins won this last year so Cork maiden winner New Kid In Town is respected in a first-time hood as he's better than he showed at Listowel where he pulled much too hard. Jansboy has won two out of four over hurdles but has been running well over fences recently and can revert to the smaller obstacles on a lower mark so looks a threat to all. Run For Firth stayed on strongly to score over 2m6f at Limerick and the longer trip is in his favour while Dawerann has been alternating between hurdles and fences and is just 2lb higher than when scoring at Limerick in July. Kennedys Mor has been going well this summer after a long break but has climbed the weights without winning but this can go to ANTHROPOD, who was well supported here at the beginning of the month and ran easily his best race to date to finish runner-up to Lattermacaward with the remainder in another parish.
