ENVIOUS EDITOR, a winner between the flags, was beaten a short-head in a huge field at Naas on his hurdling debut but has had a dozen subsequent starts without winning and has been very disappointing. However, he won't get many better chances as this is a very moderate event. Fix The Bill wasn't beaten far in maiden company here and at Gowran and though last of four at Leopardstown earlier this month was taking on much better company. Tipping Away ran a bit better at Thurles and Simon Torrens' claim is a bonus while Close Enough is respected after a promising start over the course and distance a fortnight ago. Early Arrival was beaten a long way over fences at Kilbeggan in October.
