This will take some getting in the conditions but Mr Fred Rogers looked a real stayer when battling to victory at Thurles and today's much more testing ground should be in his favour. He had earlier outstayed SHANTREUSSE over 2m5f at Punchestown but the latter really came into his own when tackling this trip on heavy going at Cork and can reverse the form with a 3lb pull. Eye Van has been highly tried and chased home Minella Crooner, who subsequently finished second in a Grade 1, at Punchestown but Rebel Ivy disappointed in a Gowran handicap after a very easy victory on heavy going at Limerick. Monishter Are Mwee's course victory came over 2m though she'll enjoy the conditions.
