Amasova beat Mick's Spirit with Shamshon further behind when scoring at Wolverhampton but The Tron is 8lb higher than his latest success as he returns to handicap company. Portelet Bay finished just ahead of Porfin with Snow Berry back in fifth when runner-up at Newcastle but a chance is taken on the former’s new stablemate CUBAN BREEZE in an open contest. The latter debuts for David Evans having posted a better effort in a higher grade at Wolverhampton and gets a change of headgear.
