Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Warhead got off the mark over hurdles on testing ground at Kilbeggan but that was in September 2009 and hasn't been seen on a racecourse since. He wouldn't need to be a world-beater to take this as Gold Cygnet, whose close second to Waltzing Tornado at Tramore on New Year's Day is the best chasing form on view, ran poorly at Naas subsequently. Yeoman likes it around here though his chasing debut at Limerick didn't offer much encouragement and Convincing, four times a winner over timber, was beaten a long way at Naas last time and makes his debut over fences. KOSHERE KING gets the vote by process of elimination as he scored on testing ground over hurdles at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and ran well for a long way on his chasing debut at Limerick last month.
