This looks competitive and will take some winning in these conditions. Quarryvale gained an easy success over three miles at Thurles but may find this trip on the short side unlike Curragh Grey, who won comfortably over the C&D in December and defied a 13lb rise to score again at Thurles last month. Another 6lb rise makes this tougher while Hidden Crack, despite a wide-margin victory at Down Royal, would probably have finished second but for the leader falling three out. PARNELL STREET has gradually been getting his act together over fences and was having just his fourth start when winning nicely over the trip at Limerick. There's more to come from the seven-year-old who can defy a 9lb rise and take this.
